Feminine and masculine

One cannot be prescriptive, for there are so many different kinds of people in the world. I maintain a particular ideology designed upon my particular calling. My goal is not to force everyone to adopt my ideology but to put out the call far and wide to bring my people home. My people are from all different families, nationalities, ethnicities, classes, and backgrounds. Those who have found their eyes and their hearts opened to Her. The men whose deepest wish is to surrender to Her. The women who cannot help but embody Her.

I want to preach so that I may be heard and resonate in the core of those who belong with me. I am for those who have been craving to hear my words and validate what they already felt to be true. The call comes through me from what I refer to as Devi, or sometimes as The Mother. The Mother is not just within me; She IS me, and She is also beyond me. She is the animating force of all things. She has iterations, avatars, and individual personalities that have so many names throughout time and in different places. Discreet aspects of Herself: Eurynome, Inanna, Ishtar, Astarte, Asherah, Kali, Durga, Dana... Nodes in the Network that is Her. I, too, am a node in Her network. There are so many. Here and there, women are lit up with Her call and become nodes as well. And to Us men are drawn and feel the irresistible urge to bow and surrender.

The call envelopes politics, social issues, sexuality, relationships, and all vital aspects of our lives. It is about the Divine Feminine and the masculine. It is about men and women. It is about patriarchy and matriarchy. Sometimes spoken about as polarity, but really it is the polarities within Her. For She has no equal counterpart. And the hypnosis of the ages was the attempt to forget Her, often with forceful attempts to wipe out the memory of Her.

Some cannot remember. Some will not remember. Some are adamantly opposed to remembering. My words will never reach them. And some will see me as the villain, the opposer, or the lost lamb. I am not for them and they are not for me. They will tread whatever path is theirs to tread. I release them to live as they desire and feel fulfilled.

I run the risk of being trivialized when I reveal any of this. In this masculine world of stratification, hierarchy, and systemic thinking, I may be infantilized or written off as irrational. So, at first, I focused on relationships alone. I concentrated on guiding the evolved and evolving submissive men in their search for a woman to serve. The simplest, most easy-to-digest form of Her worship is to revere women and devote yourself to them. And I do believe this way of life can bring both women and men great fulfillment. There's no need to complicate it if that is as far as you want to go. It's beautiful and simple.

But I find it difficult to be silent about the underlying spirit of FLR from my perspective. Being silent no longer serves me. It does not matter if I reach 20 or 2,000,000. If a few drop off disinterested in this aspect of who I am, that's OK. I speak out for the benefit of those who are seeking my words and my point of view.

I recently wrote an article about feminine styles of organization. The clever among you may have noted that the rhizomatic feminine organizational principle is the very shape of the universe we live in. Not only is the Internet feminine but so is our cosmos.

In a follow-up discussion, I mentioned a section of my book, The Pillars of Gynarchy, in which I wrote of the Wild Feminine and how utterly terrifying it can be. In the movie Annihilation, the world within the shimmer is pure, Wild Feminine with no bounds. It is a constant state of becoming that is creation and destruction all rolled into one. It takes the tiniest building blocks of life, breaks them up, and recombines them in new ways.

It makes me think of Kali. When the gods faced a masculine demon they could not defeat, they got together and conjured Her- the absolutely pure unadulterated Wild Feminine as Kali Ma. She who can simultaneously absorb (through the lapping up of every drop of Raktabija's blood so his DNA could spawn no more demons), and destroy.

In the myth, She dances furiously, having ingested and destroyed the king of the demons- the hyper-masculine threat trying to conquer the planet. To digest and absorb him was her alchemy. But her dance was then unstoppable. Imagine her as the world within the shimmer in Annihilation. She begins to absorb the entirety of all that exists and digest and recombine it to the point where nothing can exist as one solid thing. It is stuck in the constant becoming that is Kali Herself. Dolphins with human eyes, flesh that becomes fungus. A lack of boundaries between flora and fauna, meaning and materiality. Compression of time. Hyperevolution sped up and out of control. It is gloriously beautiful but absolutely terrifying. All individual discreetly stratified elements lose their grip on reality. It's everything, everywhere, all at once.

Now think of what stops Kali from stirring all of existence up in her dance of relentless becoming. It is Siva who lies down at her feet. When she dances upon him, she is calmed. Think now of the multiple meanings of Siva. He is the divine masculine, the original yogi (tapped not the silent stillness), and very literally "that which is not." He is known as the lord of destruction because is he that causes that which exists to become that which does not exist. He can turn something into nothing.

In a sense, he can put a boundary on that which is becoming. He can still the unbounded whir of non-stop creation. This is the very reason the masculine was created to begin with. To provide some kind of containment so that all this creation has places in which to rest and simply exist. To slow down the relentless creation-destruction force. To provide stability. Ever notice how when you meditate, the rapid fire of thoughts slows down, and if you have mastered it, you dip into a silent stillness? That is tapping into Siva.

The masculine provides the trellis to the vine—something for ceaseless growth to hang onto and take shape around. It is the solid support. The divine masculine has the strength to hold, support, and protect the precious and continual unfurling and unfolding that is the Feminine.

So today, I'd like you to think about both the incredible beauty that is the feminine force of becoming and also how terrifying and relentless that could be without the protective container of the masculine. It is not the masculine role to control nor to stifle the Feminine. It is simply to use its strength and stillness to stabilize the Wild Feminine into something we can hold onto and appreciate. Nothing in this universe can exist without the Feminine. However, without the masculine to gently hold it, the constant unfoldment leaves us with nothing to grasp.

Let us not forget that holding Her too firmly and trying to control Her growth is also a recipe for disaster. We do not ever want to strive for stagnation, as that is death. We must seek balance. To do so, the masculine must take the surrendered state lying beneath Her. To help stabilize and help shape Her, he must be in service to Her, not working against Her. He must anticipate Her needs and watch her grow wild, and then embrace Her and lie down in front of Her when the wildness loses coherence and needs to slow down.

You may find this at odds with my celebration that women no longer need men and that men are desired but not required. However, this is because women can find masculine containment outside of a romantic partner. They can find it in family, friends, and even in themselves. We all contain elements of both. And often, men are so bad at masculine containment that they don't get it from their partner anyway.

Again, we must not be prescriptive in others' lives. If you can read and understand my words, absorb them, and really resonate with their meaning, then I am for you. If none of it makes sense and you find yourself scoffing and rejecting my words, then you are not for me. Listen to your own responses. You are the author of this journey unless and until you give that authority over as a gift to someone else. I am here to call my people to me. I am here to help you remember.
